Well, it’s a newsletter about shopping.

I love to shop. I do a lot of shopping. My work is shopping. I work at Carted, the shopping app. So I did what any self-respecting lover of shopping who works at a shopping app would do—put my hand up to write about SHOPPING! They don’t call me Shop Girl for nothing.

In return for your love and devotion I promise to bring you personal stories, interviews with other very cool people who love to shop—or shop for work—shopping wins, regrettable purchases (we all have them), possibly some mildly incoherent musings on topics that inspire me and occasionally, if I’m allowed, some fun things I find in the Carted product and data feeds 👀

Do we need more newsletters about shopping? We’ll see.

Because shopping isn’t just about stuff—it’s about stories. I still remember the Dermalogica products my mom bought me when I was younger and had zero knowledge about the double cleanse. The silk dress that made me feel invincible at my first PR event. The couch my boyfriend and I saved up for when we took the leap and moved in. I love that certain purchases can shape our memories.
