What a read! I loved everyone's shopper persona stories and was clapping my hands for Angie tracking down her Celine jacket in perfect condition on TRR - fashion dreams coming true right there.
Haha, twist my arm! The Curator feels most relevant to me. I just talked about this in my chat with Future Reference, but I got these incredibly lightweight Jenny Bird silver sculptural hoops and an oversized The Frankie Shop blazer (via TRR ofc). They've been on my wishlist for quite a while and are cohesive to my tonal dressing aesthetic.
It's such a happy feeling to see someone get something they've dreamt of for years secondhand. It's like when you see someone running to catch the bus and the bus actually stops for them to get on (I am always cheering these people on).
I’m 95% analyst, 5% curator but I’m not very good at adhering to analyst. I would be more of a curator if budget weren’t such a constraint. But I also don’t want to amass too much stuff so I cycle back to analyst 😂
Yesssss. Analyst is absolutely there for us when we have certain constraints we're working around. What was your most recent purchase Phoebe... tell me the story :)
My most recent purchase was 10000% analyst. I lost some postpartum weight so I replaced a favorite pair of shorts…but not before I waited for a sale and made sure tailoring wasn’t a good option 😅
This was such a fun read!! I love how everyone had different personas and even the shared ones look and feel so different. Truly personal ❤️ and I died when I saw Christene’s rhinestone dress!! I would totally have purchased for those same reasons…when you know, you just know as a collector!
Thanks for being a big part of the fun Angie! TBH—I spent much of last night scrolling resale sites, totally inspired by you all. Eeeek. Collectors be collecting!
Ok I love the full build out of the shopping personas!! I read and was feeling a little like “oh no! I’m the only analyst” but Type-A gonna be Type-A 🤷♀️
OMG we need Analysts like we need Collectors , Hunters and Curators. I need you to help tune my emerging Analyst 😅 There is beauty in all our differences.
I feel like I’m an analyst in the making! I like to identify and shop for my gaps but the collector side of me always gets the final say over the analyst 😂

Tina please, please tell me your most recent purchase through the lense of your Shopping Spirit 🙏🏻

hehe—I had to ;) I saw you work that blazer for a whole week and was very impressed. Thanks for sharing! I thought you might be a Curator...
How fun are they to read!!! OMG Angie, what a find. And also...what patience and perseverance. She's SHOPPING WINS personified IMHO.

Yessss!! I wish I could dial up my analyst more often like this.
You kind of nailed it; analyst + budgeter go hand-in-hand for me!!
100% x

That dress is gorgeous! And Angie, your Celine story made my night.

Hunter with Curator rising over here. This was so fun!
She's a Hunter!!!! Love it. Please feed my new addiction by sharing a story of your most recent hunt 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
